Living Biographies of Famous Novelists by Henry Thomas, Dana Lee Thomas

4.0

This was a unique set of short biographies written in an easy to read style. I'm curious to the way/reason why they picked the specific novelists that were written about. Some of the biographies read more like stories than a biography -- and I'm not sure of whether that says more about the novelists' life or the writing style. Reading the biographies, you can tell the writers' felt passion and care for each one of the novelists - not only because they chose to write about them but by the style they wrote it.
The title is a bit misleading because these novelists are all dead, but the title says "living biographies" but don't let that take away from your enjoyment because it felt like the biographies themselves were living and alive- and maybe that's what they meant with title.
