Imperial Ambitions: Conversations on the Post-9/11 World by Noam Chomsky

I haven't read nonfiction for ages. Chomsky is among my favorite political thinkers, mostly because I feel like he comes right out and says the things that other commentators huff and puff and beat around the bush at.
That being said, I felt his comments (the book is in interview format, Q and A) in this particular book were fairly obvious, and lacking the level of insight that usual impresses me. He brings a few solid points to the table, and makes some strong statements and assertions about the Clinton Administration and their hegemonic approach to foreign policy, which I found interesting, (and I agree with most of what he says, being a bleeding heart liberal myself), but it didn't especially inspire activate, or educate me--mostly made me feel bad about my privileged lifestyle, and how little activism I am engaged in on a day to day basis.
