I love this ensemble of characters so much. Reread abt five times, is one of my top ten books of all time. So sublime and so beautiful, the one book that makes me understand why right wingers are so obsessed with the past without any of the racist rhetoric. It made me yearn for my grandfather - i wish he got to read it. Just so so beautiful.
