Destination Unknown by Agatha Christie

2.0

While this book is certainly readable as are all Agatha Christie's work it feels very rushed and a bit wild. I spent most of the book wondering what was happening and it was only in the last chapter some stuff made sense but unlike her other works it didn't feel satisfying. This book is more a spy thriller story and Agatha doesn't excel at those based on this story. It feels like she is trying to shove a spy story into a detective stories suit and the thing just wont fit. The romance if one can call it that is awful. Unless you really want an Agatha book and have read everything else, or are really curious what Agatha's version of a red scare spy story would be, I would give this one a skip.
