THIS WAS THE CONCLUSION I WAS LOOKING FOR AND HERE'S WHY:
-Raffe is back!!!! The dynamic duo are together again. World After lost that spark that Penryn and Raffe had together as their paths took them in opposite directions. If you're a fan of Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell in "His Girl Friday", The End of Days trilogy is what you want to read. Penryn and Raffe aren't whole when they are apart, and when they're together they become an unstoppable force.
-Sick twisted humor. Paige can only eat fresh meat, which equates to people. A CULT VOLUNTEERS. Omg. My laughing at this makes me sound psychotic, but God bless Penryn and Paige's mom. While the world sees her as crazy, this woman is brilliant. Susan Ee, took a woman who has schizophrenia and made her useful. She wasn't a helpless damsel, and this is what the world needs, to see people who have a mental illness are still human and can still offer society so much.
-This whole series is predicated on Angels being the monsters, but this installment really focuses on the humans being turned into the monsters. The dregs of society, being told again and again how they are worthless, this is the book in which they turn into the monsters they've always told that they were.
