The Homewrecker was the book I didn’t know I needed. It was an honor to be selected as an ARC reviewer for [author:sara-cate] whom I think is a fantastic author and creates memorable characters and stories. The Homewrecker lived up to Sara’s other work coming in hot 🔥 with the spicy 🌶️ scenes and exploring new relationships.

The Homewrecker was a wonderful read and it’s wonderful because Sara doesn’t shy away from telling a story about people who acknowledge and learn to accept their wants and needs that do not align with societal expectations. The Homewrecker is about a married couple who has a life that society would see as picture perfect and while they love each other they know they’re not as happy as they’re perceived to be. This book delves into how relationships can become stronger when all of their desires are in the open allowing Briar (FMC) and Caleb (MMC) to create a life that fulfills their needs. All of their needs, even the need that recognizes that maybe we can’t get everything we need from one person and the opportunities when we open our minds and hearts to that possibility. This was a beautifully written story and could be the story of our sibling, our next door neighbor, our best friend or countless other individuals who evolve to find that it’s not always two halves that make whole, sometimes it’s three thirds that make whole.

Who this book is for: This book is for someone who is comfortable reading about emotions and actions that people are quick to avoid sharing and for someone who can appreciate that life’s greatest blessings can come from exploring our whole self and living our truth.
