This is the actual Grumpy and Pokey...
So why they decided to make Pokey the most annoying character since Sponge Bob Square Pants, I'll never know...
This is one of those comics where I'm not sure who the target audience is exactly. Some of the references seemed to be for adults but the writing and dialog was pretty juvenile.
The best part, and the actual laughs, were at the end in the cover variant gallery.
If you are a fan of Sponge Bob is might be for you, otherwise be prepared to be disappointed. No wit, no originality, and worst of all there are no likable characters.
