Shades of Earth by Beth Revis

5.0

For a YA book, Beth Revis does a PHENOMENAL job at making this book (trilogy, overall) unbelievably engaging and far from juvenile. The description makes it so that it feels as if you are in the landscape with Amy and Elder. You can feel the things they feel. It’s so good. I wish I could reread it again without knowing what happened.

I do wish that there was a bit more at the end. I think it’s a very heartwarming ending. But I would love to see an expansion. Or maybe even a sequel of years later. Or a decade later (no spoilers).

Aside from just really wishing it didn’t end, it’s amazing. I love it. Definitely going in my top books.
