Picture book. Marlo and Coco are best friends, always playing together. But when day, Marlo snaps at Coco and seems to get lost in his anger. Coco diligently tries to find her friend, and eventually finds out that he is actually sad because his beloved dog died. So she puts her arms around him and they cry together.  A deceptively simple story about getting overwhelmed by emotions and how friends can be a help in finding your way back to a better emotional state.  Also could lead to discussions of how emotions are so tightly connected, like Marlo showing anger when the root feeling was really sadness.
