I felt this book was a good synopsis of the complexities of war. Even in a war that is 'justified', horrible things happen. The author addresses murky issues and the inner motivations of what drives us in our relationships and in our actions. A little hard to get into but once you are into it, hard to put down. Some of the details are gruesome....but it is war.
