It is truly frightening that people cannot see what is right in front of them when they become totally consumed by a cult. The extent to which people can be manipulated is astounding - especially in the face of absolute proof that their "beliefs" are nothing more than that!
The interesting fact is that cult behavior is much more common than people believe - just look at how easily people are manipulated and controlled by social media, and you have all the proof you need!
The book itself was somewhat longer than necessary, so I deducted one star, but still a facinating read.
