I have so many mixed thoughts on this book - I loved the world and the magic system, but I found the pacing in the first half of the book very slow and hard to get into. However, it definitely picks up around the half way point. 

I really enjoyed the magical aspect of the wilds and how Jenna's magic is described. I do wish we were able to see more of the wilds in this book, but maybe the sequel will expand on that.
