I was going to give this book 2 stars as I thought the story was ok. But I hated the heroine too much.
In the first pages I thought I would like her, as she fought with words and pretty much won. But then she started being physically abusive with the hero, and many others as well. Non of her friends nor the hero deserved her being abusive like that. If she had continued to dominate with words this would have been a much better book.
I so felt for the hero. Yes he made mistakes, but only because he did not know anything about earth culture. And she kept expecting him to know everything about a planet he had never heard of, and then getting physically abusive every time he got it wrong. What about trying to learn about your new home instead? Maybe asking what their equivalent of a marriage is, instead of getting hysterical? F**k her!
I really wanted to like this book since it was recommended to me by a FB group of an author I love. But I don't think I can even read the next book, as her sister seems to be the same way.
