Cowboy in a Kilt by Kait Nolan

4.0

This is the first full novel in this new series set in Scotland (rather than the author’s usual deep South setting). I was unsure about the new setting, only because I love the richness of her stories based in the South, and was concerned it wouldn’t be replicated. I was very happily wrong, the storytelling is just as spellbinding and the description of the locale just as vivid.

This book is a set after the prequel which I would highly recommend reading first, although you get caught up quickly on the backstory.

This book is fun, feisty and captivating. It is full of gripping storylines, rich and at times quirky characters and you immediately feel part of the story and invested in the characters. It's a fairly quick read because once you start, you can’t put it down.

I can’t wait for more of this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
