I listened to this on LeVar Burton Reads podcast. It was long enough to require two parts, built still counts as short fiction.
Traditionally Wizard Timmon would be the protagonist/narrator, so it was quite fun to hear from the Thief Jayn what it's like to be a pawn in the powerful's game.
Not to say he's not good at what he does, but he is a bit dense when it comes to understanding the whims of wizards.
A bite sized adventure with a grand moral to be told.
