Siberia 56, Volume 1 by Christophe Bec

3.0

Well, I manged to find the first two of the three included volumes and the third one is too expensive. So, I'm writing this on the basis of the first two parts only. It is a good sci-fi tale, with thrilling escapades, and heroic actions undertaken by the protagonists. Story is nice... but kind of run-of-the-mill. Like a typical Star Trek episode. Commonplace, direct, simple. But the action sequences are still gripping! I think the best part of this series is the art. It perfectly captures the environment of the desolate, frozen hellscape of the planet. Some qustions are raised in the first book and some answers are given in the second. I am hoping the third gives more answers and I will update this review in the future if I ever get the chance to read the third part.

By the way, the translation of dialogue from Frnech to English is kinda janky in some parts.
