The Tudor Plot : A Novella by Steve Berry

3.0

The "decimal releases" by Steve Berry – The Admiral's Mark (Cotton Malone #0,5), The Devil's Gold (Cotton Malone #6,5), The Tudor Plot (Cotton Malone #7.5) – feature a much more sensible tempo and are structure than the actual Cotton Malone novels. As usual, there's a historical plot (King Arthur's lost grave) and an action plot (conspiracy to overthrow the British monarchy) nicely mixed together. I was already about to give up on the Cotton Malone series after the disappointments of The Paris Vendetta, The Emperor's Tomb and The Jefferson Key, but on the strengths of The Tudor Plot, I'll give the next novel a shot.
