This is a novella, which works in some ways and doesn't in others. There are a lot of references to past events that I think should have been expanded on to improve the reading experience. On the other hand, too much additional information would have likely slowed down the pacing of the story. Personally, I 'm really left wondering about a lot of things and frustrated about that.
