I Heart New York by Lindsey Kelk

4.0

I spent the entire book not knowing whether or not I really liked it. I suppose since I read it as chick lit, knowing I wanted light, fluffy, easy-to-read chick lit, I'm not too bothered. However, a few details bothered me:
1. Did her ex-fiance do anything about her depositing loads of money?
2. Where did she get the rest of her money from?
3. Why didn't her credit card company call her? She was in another country unexpectedly and on a huge spending spree. Normally she would have been caught.
4. What happened with Mark and his toiletry bag? Did he notice? I bet.
5. Why did Tyler suddenly become an ass after being such a good guy? That needed a bit more explaining. There wasn't much to indicate he was an ass, then he suddenly was.

I liked it. It made me want to go to New York, which is arguably one of the main points of the book: to make the reader interested in the city.

What I didn't like was: 10 year relationship, New York for 2 weeks, relationship with 2 guys without a day of being single then break up with both guys and a few months of successful job then get the guy back. Her life just fell neatly into place, didn't it?
