I didn’t know what to expect with this going in, it was SO good. I assumed we’d get a normal dysfunctional family, dramas, petty stuff - no!

I love the spotlight on Cyril and their heritage through the book.

The book focuses on Dimple Pennington and her four (half) siblings. How they came to be, how they didn’t have a relationship with each other or their useless father Cyril until one day, they banded together.

I found this read quite emotional tbh, to go from not knowing your siblings and being quite lonely and feeling left out of life - to then suddenly be part of something big and loud, crazy, your just accepted and fit into the middle of all this chaos and they love you anyway. It isn’t easy and there’s bumps, but nothing good ever is and that’s just family
