DNF’d four chapters in. The pace is awfully slow, the prose is dragged out to an almost unbearable degree. I found myself saying “get to the point” several times…by chapter FOUR. I almost DNF’d at chapter three because the MMC’s POV was actually insufferable, but I decided to keep going for the FMC’s storyline at that point. Needless to say, that was a mistake. I would recommend this only to people who like terrible books.
