I loved this book. It's presented very differently from most other books in this genre, and it looks like there may be much more to learn about the background and history of how this alternate world came to be.
The main characters were all very interesting and distinctive. I loved Kali and how interesting her "abilities" were. I loved Skylar especially, and all her brothers and her description of them. I really liked the concept of a Nibbler that made Kali who she was, and others of her kind. I'm really hoping for a sequel because I would love to find out more about that world, about the other preternatural creatures, and definitely how the Nibbler thing works.
