Tokyo Ghoul: re, Vol. 7 by Sui Ishida

5.0

I bloody loved this volume and I am SOOOOOOOOO excited for the rise of Ken Kaneki <3

This instalment was one hell of a wild ride - we learn more of Kaneki's background (particularly how he was named Kaise Sasaki and Arima's involvement with Sasaki's recruitment in the CCG), the "part" Hide played in Kaneki's recovery *shudder*, the "showdown" between Sen Takatsuki (aka Eto Yoshimura) and Nimura Furuta (aka Kichimura Washuu), the exploits between the Qs and CCG vs. Ayato Kirishima (aka The Rabbit)/Renji/Banjo and The Masks, the rescue of Hinami, the slight reconnection of Touka and Ken, and the abuse Mutsuki suffers at the hands of The Torso :'(

PLUS the ULTIMATE showdown between Kaneki and his 'father-like figure' Kisho Arima which is still to be played out until the end!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I can't wait to continue with this series <3
