Yay! Finished Season 1 today!
I absolutely loved this series from beginning to end. Well-thought out, 3-dimensional characters, responding to a fascinating setting (nearly alternate history in some regards; what if the peoples of the Americas had made it to Europe first? It's not exactly Europe, and they're not exactly from the Americas, but the parallels are striking).
Looking forward to season 2!
