I'm not sure whether it was the book or me that make reading this take forever and a day. It wasn't bad, but I never fully slipped into Harper's world this go round. Well, at least not for quite awhile, anyway. About the time Harper ends up dog sitting, the book finally sucked me in.

That said, a lot happened in Labryinth. The body count rises and holy frick does the ending make me want the next book now. But maybe part of my problem was reading this immediately after the previous book, Vanished. Usually I have time to mull over the events of one book before catapulting onto the next one, but somehow I missed Vanished's original publication so... back to back reads.
