The Descent by Thomas Dekker, Thijs Zonneveld, David Doherty

3.0

Interesting book. You don't get such a deep insight into doping as in Taylor Hamiloton's book, but it's certainly an exciting insight. From time to time it is annoying how the author condemns himself and calls himself foolish. Almost every other page, is regretting his own actions. Also, the career is over as quickly as it began and therefore there are few cycling details. If you want to look deeper into the doping structures, you should rather read Taylor Hamilton's book. If you want to read more about party, sex and redemption, this is the book for you.
Sunna summarum. Reads easily, there are a few exciting insights, not necessarily recommended but not a waste of time to read it.
