Did not finish book.

Just couldn’t get into this book. It could be bc I didn’t care for the narrator on the audio book. I also just couldn’t feel connected to any of the people. Even though I know they were real people, the way the story unfolded they sounded like stereotypes (or one dimensional). I feel bad saying that, since this is the author’s real family. But it all just seemed superficial. From a technical standpoint, there were too many characters, and the writing tried too hard to be lyrical.
