The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

5.0

If I had a nickel for every fictional bisexual man I know who have abusive fathers and became deaf in one ear and married their best friend I’d have two nickels (thank you Adam Parrish and Henry Montague)

Anyways what a lovely story!! I ate it up so quickly oh wow. There was adventure, tension, action, romance, comedy, tear jerking moments like what more could you want from a book?? Tbh though I wasn’t a huge fan of Henry at the beginning of the book- that man is ANNOYING- but his development was written beautifully and he became such a delight for me. Each character really was so fun. That’s what this book is: FUN. And the romance… WOW. That ending but had me tearing up!!! I’m glad I chose this book for my spring reread, and now I’m just filled with so much giddiness and joy. The ending just warms my heart! A fantastic adventure story with such great comedy and a beautiful top tier romance, again, what more could you ask for??
