Slow start with alot of history and background on the characters and the town. Second half moves quick and one thing happens after another. Gives good examples of what racial differences look and feel like. Sydney is a black women just trying to save her mother's home. Theo is a while male who has made some not great choices. Though it shows when two people come together from widely different backgrounds they can see and appreciate both sides of gender and racial differences. Not as intense as some thrillers but decent.
