Jon Klassen's illustrations are some of my very favorite in the whole world of picture books. But this story is the kind of thing people complain about when they say that children's picture books are way too simple. Not Mac Barnett's best work by a long shot. For that, check out Extra Yarn, also illustrated by Klassen.
