This was such a lovely book. It's geared towards children but I know I'm not the only adult who has read it and enjoyed it. Recently I heard two adults asking about the book and remarking on how good it is.
It follows the story of a girl who has left home to seek their fortune. Along the way she has several adventures and problems but all are solved with the help of her new found friends. Storytelling is a key feature throughout the book and there are several short stories accompanying the main narrative.
