There was no out-of-this-world event here. I think what got me is that perfect simplicity. And it's poignant and compelling. Sad and happy and everything in between.
Even when you know how this book would end, how Clare and Aidan got there will still make you want to be in on the ride. And eventually you will realize how it's not all that different from what you have.
It's amazing how Jen (the author, yes, first-name-basis-yes) captures heart-tugging emotions that a lot of people can relate to. It's just heartwarmingly perfect.
AND JEN HAS THE PERFECT BOOK COVERS. I GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL.
AND, LASTLY, I WANT THIS TO BE MADE INTO A FILM. PLEASE GOOD HEAVENS PLEASE.
