A fun and quick read, but it definitely feels like a debut novel. If you are looking for a cute, lesbian, witch romance then you will like this book. I felt like a lot of emotional moments were just glossed over when they should have been explored. The concept was interesting and I would love to have been given more information about the world. This book was mostly fun to read and the majority of the time the characters were likable, but the book desperately needed to slow down. If the reader had been given a better understanding of the world and its rules, along with a slower pace to take it all in, I would have loved this book. If you care more about the romance between the leads than the plot and world-building, you will probably like this book a lot more than I did.
