A Promise for the Twins by Melissa Senate

3.0

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Nick Garroway is fulfilling a promise to a fallen comrade who saved his life. Medically discharged from the military, he's back in his home town to make good on that promise. Checking up on Brooke Timber is supposed to be easy for him. Go in, pass on a message, make sure she and the new twin boys have what they need and leave. Only it becomes clear very quickly is that Brooke needs a nanny to help her before she and her wedding planner business fall apart. Nick can't believe it when he finds himself volunteering for the duty...

Let me just say that is was actually a pretty cute and refreshing read. There's nothing like reading about a man who is highly capable of caring for twin 3 month old babies. Or about a man who wants to and not just to get in good with their struggling but successful mother, but because he wants to help. Help all of them. Nick is a genuinely nice guy...who needs to get more in touch with his feelings.

The only thing you have to ask yourself before you start reading is, do you believe in love at first sight?

If your answer is yes, you're golden and should thoroughly enjoy this book! Just don't expect any details in the intimate areas. They are 100% glossed over. So if that is what you're looking to read, keep going, this is not it.

All in all, it was pretty good.
