Daja's Book by Tamora Pierce

3.0

The theme of reaping bloody consequences continues, it seems! Though in this case the kids mostly get to observe another's folly rather than making their own mess, hah.

This one didn’t have quite the impact that I remembered, but I still liked it quite a bit. It was fun to spend more personal time with the mentors, and lovely to see Daja reclaim some of her roots—both internal and cultural.
