Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han

3.0

This is the perfect example of a book series that should’ve stayed a stand alone. But, did I enjoy this book? Well, yeah, actually.

I laughed and cried and swooned at almost every sentence, while at the same time relating way too much to Lara Jean’s situation, because hey, I also happen to be a senior who’s three months away from graduating overly stressing about college.

But that’s it. This book wasn’t necessary.

It felt like an after thought (because it was) and even if I liked it way more than PS I Still Love You, at least that one had some kind of storyline that continued the original.

Peter was an asshole, Lara Jean got “new friends” out of nowhere that weren’t developed at all, the whole marriage sub plot was kind of eh, and oh my god was Lara Jean annoying. But I still enjoyed it, I guess. I don’t know.
