Jeeves and the Feudal Spirit by P.G. Wodehouse, P.G. Wodehouse

funny fast-paced

4.5

I needed something short to read, so picked up this Wodehouse which I must have bought 20 years ago.  It is obviously about a class of people who either don't exist any more, or who most people never come across.  It is also a little sexist (although not particularly racist except for the fact that every character is very white).  But I don't think either of those things should stop people reading it -  the book is from a different area and is hilarious.  Nobody (except perhaps Jeeves) comes out looking good.  Laugh out loud funny so still worth reading even 70 years after it was published.
