Bobbie Faye's (Kinda, Sorta, Not Exactly) Family Jewels by Toni McGee Causey

5.0

Poor Bobbie Faye, she can never get a break! She's got even more people after her in this book than the last one. This time everyone wants her to find a huge stash of missing diamonds. She knows they want her to find them because as soon as she steps outside her work (where there's a gunfight going on) she's kidnapped and driven around the block as her family's threatened if she doesn't help. As soon as she's dropped off another group kidnaps her, does the exact same thing, then rinse and repeat as it happens again! She's also trying to figure out why she's appearing on a security tape shooting and killing a jeweler. We get to meet more of her family and the love triangle between her, Cam (ex-boyfriend with a lot of history) and Trevor (new boyfriend) develops a lot more. I really enjoyed finding out who was the mastermind behind the murder, I didn't suspect them at all. Can't wait to read the next book, this author's hard to put down once I start.
