Asimov's Science Fiction, February 2015 by Jane Yolen, Leah Cypess, Michael Bishop, Elizabeth Bear, Eneasz Brodski, Thom Dunn, Joshua Gage, Peter J. Heck, Erwin S. Strauss, Marie Vibbert, Robert Silverberg, Sheila Williams, Derek Künsken, Nick Wolven

2.0

NOVELLA
On the Night of the Robo-Bulls and Zombie Dancers by Nick Wolven

A few good ideas, but it had to go for "stylish"

NOVELETTES
Rattlesnakes and Men by Michael Bishop
Too blatant allegory
No Decent Patrimony by Elizabeth Bear
Good but the ending felt rushed and coming from nowhere
Red Legacy by Eneasz Brodski
Good! Oppresive, desperate, but solid sf, in an alternate world where Lamarck was right.
SHORT STORIES
Ghost Colors by Derek Künsken
Meh ghost story. I will look for other Kunsken story that was praised in the intro and won reader´s award.

Forgiveness by Leah Cypess
I have a feeling I read this before, or a story with the same setting. What if a chip could induce good behavior? It was also used on Spike in Buffy the VS.

By the way, the cover, by Jude Palencar inspired the Palencar project:

I want to read those 4 stories!
