I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

This is a pretty good apocalyptic epidemic book. The disease has an unusual effect on victims, leading to some interesting plot turns. The characters are mostly sympathetic and well-developed. There are a few "too-stupid-to-live" choices and a few plot inconsistencies, but overall it's decently written. The narration is good. I enjoyed the book and will keep an eye out for the sequels (since the title has Sympatico Syndrome #1 in the title, I assume there will be at lease one sequel. If you like apocalypse tales, I'd recommend this. If you don't like apocalypse tales, this isn't outstanding enough for me to recommend you read it anyway.
