In a Perfect World by Trish Doller

This book was amazing. I loved learning about Egypt. Seeing Adam and Caroline struggle with their new relationship gave me a lot of insight about 2 worlds colliding but in the best way. I also noticed the dangers of a single story. When Caroline would stereotype and have assumptions about the Egyptians and was proved wrong every time. Caroline was kind of your typical white girl, in the sense where she did make assumptions about people , and did not consider that people around the world go through struggles addressed in this book. Although,I loved learning about the egyptian language, customs, and culture that was one of my favorite parts.
