The Columbus Affair by Steve Berry

3.0

Journalist Tom Sagan hits rock-bottom after being accused of faking a story and being stripped of his Pulitzer. His life takes a turn when it turns out he holds the key to Christopher Columbus' treasure and he is crossed and double-crossed as he journeys around the world in search of the truth. Lots of adventure, intrigue and suspense keeps this story moving at a fast pace. What I enjoyed almost more than the tale itself was the writer's notes in which Berry distinguishes the fact from the fiction.
