Princess Mia by Meg Cabot

Definitely the best book in the series so far! The drama was top tier here, with so much happening in Mia's life. From losing her boyfriend and her best all in the span of a weekend, to tearing down the absolute monarchy of Genovia into a democracy. It's quite a lot, and I just loved every second. We've really seen Mia change a lot in just one book, and I'm so happy for her.

SpoilerI also can't tell you how happy it made me to see this series cover such a heavy topic like depression, but in it's own lighthearted nice way. It made me pretty emotional, because I personally suffer from depression and Mia's struggle with caring about anything is so painfully relatable. I just never expected this series to touch on anything of the sort.

And as usual, I hate Lilly. She sucks so much, and I'm glad that Mia has finally started to see how awful she is, and how she deserves a better bestie, like Tina.

I honestly can't believe that there's only one more book! (at least in the main series) But I'm so excited to see how it all ends.
