Lau's category-length het romances are usually solid 3-star reads for me. But this one had a few too many tropes that are my anti-catnip:
• Female protagonist is dating (and presumably sleeping with) a guy who is not the male romantic lead for the first half of the book
• Female protagonist has dated current billionaire boyfriend for more than a year, and has not thought to ask him much about his work or wealth (which, it turns out, stems largely from his abuse of workers and his shady business dealings)
• Love-at-first-sight (at least on the part of the male protagonist)
