This was the last book I read in 2020 and it was a happy, creepy, surprise! I love going into a book knowing zilch about the story. It started as a regular murder mystery pre civil war era, but it turned out to be so much more! It was a very quick, thrilling read and there were a few scenes that were absolutely frightening. Beneath Ash & Bone is the perfect winter chilling read!
