Deadpool: Dracula's Gauntlet by Brian Posehn

3.0

This was like Penny Dreadful meets, well...Deadpool. A mashup I never knew I needed.

I've long declared myself not a superhero comic person, but in writing this review, I've realized I've said this in the beginning of a few reviews now:

"I'm not a superhero comic book person, but I did really enjoy..." Faith. Squirrel Girl. And now, Deadpool. Look at me. Maybe I am a superhero comic book person, just, of a certain type? Do I have a type? A comic type?

This is the first Deadpool comic I've ever read, and for beginners like me, you can definitely start here. My only frustration is that I'm not sure where to go from here - I want to read more into this storyline, but there's not exactly a 'Dracula's Gauntlet Volume 2' and I'm confused/overwhelmed about how to continue.

PS - Dracula's got amazing disc earrings in this and that really upped the entire storyline 2+ points.
