Watership Down
by Richard Adams
Exciting, funny, interesting, thrilling--I don't know what more you can ask for in a book.
Despite this being children's literature, it deals with extremely interesting topics. Ones you wouldn't normally associate with children's books. It's awesome though, in just about every way.
I've always had a fondness for anthropomorphism, and it's mostly just a shock that it's taken so long for me to encounter this book.
But, yeah, great stuff.
