Everything you could want from a horror novel. I loved everything about this novel. Except the ending. I think I was hoping for the book to end with the tunnels.....and a part two. This would make an excellent horror movie. It has horror, fear, and also brings up important points about humanity, in general. Its a great horror story, I highly recommend this.
The eerie, uncomfortable feelings and intense, individual cahracters really make this a can't-put-down book. People, inexplicably, turn from humans to cannibals. Some can return to their human state, some do not. Those that do not, hunt flesh....
Trust turns into no trust turns into terror, turns into mass hysteria and horror, and no one can really be safe....or trusted. Can you trust anyone?? Can anyone trust you?? This book is mainly set in downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street, where I bought this and was staying for several days.
