Some of the best short horror stories I've ever read are in this compilation, but I am not a fan of all ofthem (though none are downright abysmal). While I appreciate the artistic risk of including sound effects throughout the book, I found the sound choices to be more often distracting than beneficial to the atmosphere of a particular story.
