The Crow: Death and Rebirth by Kevin Colden, John Shirley

1.0

As a huge Crow fan, this has to be the most disappointing Crow story I've ever read. The ending is too rushed, some of the scenes could have used an extra panel or two for some transition shots, and, really, this Crow didn't do anything for me. I'm extremely tired of the white savior trope and see no reason why Jaime couldn't be Japanese.

When I try to evaluate Crow stories, I usually measure them on a rank of how uncomfortable they make me, how just their revenge feels, and how messed up the situation is. This comes in at the very bottom. There are better comics and novels out there.
